Posted on April 3rd, 2009

Morbark, Inc. is pleased to announce their third Demo Days event being held May 7-8, 2009 at Morbark, Inc. headquarters in Winn, Michigan. The event includes extensive factory tours, informational seminars, equipment demonstrations and networking opportunities.Morbark personnel, in conjunction with their dealers and vendors, welcome customers, prospective customers and industry media to the event. Past Demo Days, held in 2006 and 2007, have been highly successful. John Foote, Vice President of

Sales and Marketing stated, “Demo Days is a unique opportunity for our customers and potential customers. They can see the processes of how this equipment is built and also meet the people who are building it and the vendors who support us. It’s an opportunity to see the strengths of the entire company over a two day time period. This includes demonstrations at our testing grounds representing over five million dollars worth of new equipment.”

Equipment scheduled to be demonstrated at Demo Days 2009 includes several whole tree drum-style chippers designed for the biomass market, a Total Chiparvestor, two horizontal grinders, a tub grinder, a flail and a new heavy-duty brush chipper equipped with a feed deck. The Morbark Integrated Control System (MICS), a state-of-the-art diagnostic and communications system featured on many of these machines, will be demonstrated as well. MICS monitors hydraulic pressures, temperatures, clutch systems and engine efficiency while automatically adjusting to maximize performance.
