Söderhamn Eriksson from Sweden has appointed Swarftech as its exclusive sales agent in Australia. Swarftech Engineering is based in Eden, N.S.W. and will be responsible for selling Söderhamn Eriksson’s full product program. The directors of Swarftech, Mr Tony Esplin and Mr Wayne Carracher both have a long background in the sawmilling supply industry as well as a long relationship with Söderhamn Eriksson that dates back to the early 1990’s.
Söderhamn Eriksson have been a long time supporter of the industry through the wide range of FIEA technology programmes that are being run every year to improve the efficiencies and international competitiveness of Australian wood products companies. Söderhamn Eriksson’s product line consists of debarking machines, log breakdown equipment with all modern technologies as well as optimized feeding systems and optimized edgers. Swarftech Engineering will also be responsible for Söderhamn Eriksson’s after sales with service and spare parts.
