Waratah Announces the HTH618C - a Premium Debarker/Delimber

Waratah has expanded its product line to include an advanced delimbing/debarking solution for the New Zealand, Australia and other Asia-Pacific markets. The highlight of the HTH618C is its double-bottom delimb knives that provide increased stem coverage, resulting in improved delimbing and debarking quality. Many of the benefits found on the HTH618C, including the heavy-duty rotator, are shared with the larger Waratah models. “More work and less downtime are a must for today’s operators, and the HTH618C is just the machine for the job,” said Brad Mrozinski, Product Marketing Manager.

Customer-inspired updates
Customer feedback is core to all new programs within Waratah - and the HTH618C is no different. Customer-inspired updates and real-world testing have improved each of the attachments in Waratah’s 600-Series. The HTH618C boasts the following features:  

• Double-tilt down stops to decrease frame stress and increase frame durability.
• Valve and valve cover changes that improve access and serviceability, decreasing time and effort spent on maintenance for increased uptime.
• Reduction of the surface area of hose exposed to decrease the number and frequency of hose changes for lower operating costs and decreased downtime.
• An enlarged oil pipe, which reduces lubrication spillage and environmental contamination, delivers faster fill times and reduces waste.
