Morbark adds to line of ADR compliant brush chippers

Posted on September 5th, 2011

The Morbark BeeverTM M18RX AU Brush Chipper now joins the  M12R AU, M14R AU and M15R AU in an ever-growing line-up of chippers that have been redesigned to comply with Australian Design Rules (ADR).

A key feature of the redesign was the development of an 18″ unit that weighs in under 4.5 metric tons (9,920 pounds), even when equipped with 170 horsepower, a winch and hydraulic front stabilizer.  Also, like its forerunners, the M18RX AU has curbside controls keeping the operator out of the way of passing traffic when working on city streets.  The unit is equipped with ADR taillights, marker lights, reflectors and a leaf spring suspension axle.  All AU units are built with Morbark’s proven durability and reliability, and offer highly desirable standard features.
