Prinoth’s Beaver® baring it’s teeth in global mulching sector

Prinoth’s Beaver® forestry mulcher
AHWI and Prinoth announced earlier this year the formation of a strategic alliance for the further global expansion of biomass and sustainable brush cutting and mulching solutions in forestry and agriculture.
Within this context, Prinoth, part of the Leitner Group, aquired a 51% stake in AHWI Maschinenbau GmbH. With this strategic partnership, AHWI gained access to an outstanding international sales and service network as well as to a global production and supplier network.
“The products of the two companies complement each other perfectly,” explains Arthur Willibald, founder and CEO of AHWI GmbH. “While AHWI has a complete product line of mulching equipment and associated carrier vehicles, Prinoth is expanding this range with its Beaver, a track-driven mulcher, and with its complete spectrum of carrier vehicles for the transport of the biomass that has been harvested. Herdwangen, the town where AHWI is located, plays a fundamental role worldwide as a competence centre within the group for biomass processing and soil conservation. By means of the strategic alliance with Prinoth, we are continuing along the path as an international provider of comprehensive vegetation management solutions.”
