Innovatek Ltd - Germany beckons - KWF show in June 2012
Innovatek Ltd are The Official Partner (Australasia) of the 16th “KWF Tagung (its German for ‘Meeting’)”, scheduled to take place from 13-16 June 2012 in Bopfingen (Eastern Swabian Alb District), Germany under the Motto: “Fascinating Forestry - winning by cooperation”. The KWF-Tagung ranks among the biggest Forestry Technology Demofairs in the world. The KWF-Tagung is staged every four years at different locations. The 2012 event is the most important international meeting of the forestry sector in that year. The KWF-Tagung is traditionally divided into three elements - KWF-Expo (formerly known as the Forest machinery and Innovations DemoFair), field trips and scientific congress. The last KWF-Tagung, which took place in 2008 in Schmallenberg, attracted over 43000 professional visitors.The KWF-Expo is part of the KWF-Tagung (Meeting) and sited in a forest setting. Over 400 exhibitors from more than 20 countries will present their latest developments and state-of-the-art technologies on an area covering 100 ha of fields and forest.
National and international exhibitors will demonstrate products from a wide range of forest technological application fields including: - ICT (information and communication technology), wood transport, municipal technology, energy technology work safety. The program is augmented by special shows focussing on specific topics, innovation premieres and live competitions.
To make it easy for New Zealand and Australian forest contractors and others to attend FICA have put together a travel package which includes subsequent visits to logging operations in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon states in North America. There is a minimum number of 10 delegates required travelling on this set package to make the trip viable as a group.
